Crawfish ATX: Discover Authentic Cajun Flavor in Austin

Food is always excellent the flavor is always great. Always served hot and it’s always delicious. The service could use some improvement. There was no people when we visited and our waiter would not check in on us regularly as other places do. We waited maybe 10 minutes or more to get our order taken and the place was basically empty. Waiter checked on us at first and at the end we were not getting any refills while we ate. Could use some improvement.

Very disappointing. Same issue as last SPM location. Their "pico" is always way past eat by date! Nothing worse than overripe tomatoes. But according to them "that's the way it should taste". Ettofe very bland. Fried mushrooms tiny and over fried. Short-staffed waitress overwhelmed.

We were a party of four. Had to wait approx 30 minutes for a table on a Saturday at 5:30 pm. Server was busy so we weren’t tended to as often as we would have liked, but server was good and was efficient when asked for things. We ordered 12 Cajun wings, hushpuppies, 2 pounds of snow crab, and 2 pounds of crawfish. Flavor was good. Quantity was good. Quality was good. Family friendly environment. Handicapped parking available. Not pet friendly. Bathroom was clean, restaurant was clean. With tip came out to about 35 per person. 2 alcoholic beverages. Would recommend.

This is one of those spots I’ve been longing to come back for a lustre! Great Cajun taste and kind service. Ordering family style (2 pounds of 2 items for our party of 4 adults and two kids was . Came in from out of town and decided we had to try Crawfish ATX. The flavor of the boiled crawfish and shrimp were great just not spicy like we like them. (I’m from deep LA) Our raw oysters, charbroiled oysters, fried pickles were all amazing! The atmosphere and staff were amazing! Our waiter knew every inch of the menu and made suggestions based on questions. We will be back to try other menu items!

I drove down from north Austin through heavy rain to make it here for Happy hour with the coworkers. It was pretty busy on a Thursday night, but there are tables. The appetizers were yummy, we got the sampler and jalapeño poppers around 5-6$ during HH. Then we each order our seafood boil. I got 1lb shrimp, 1lb crawfish and added corn, sausage, mushrooms, onions. They you pick level of spice you want or if you just want it in butter. So delicious, shrimp was big with head. The medium sauce was spicy and perfect. I loved the corn, make you sure you get more. I would definitely come back here again! And there’s no gimmicks, you pay the seafood by the pound and add the other stuff as a La carte. We loved the seafood boil and the happy hour drinks!!!
